As A Junior (2023)
Started all 59 games played this season (56 at catcher, three at designated hitter) • Named to ACC all-tournament team • Posted career-highs in every statistical offensive category • Lead the team in batting average (.322), hits (75), doubles (22), multi-hit games (24) and multi-RBI games (17) • Ranked second on the team in OPS (.979), home runs (12), RBIs (60) and slugging percentage (.571) • Ended the season on an eight-game hitting streak • Drove in three or more runs in game seven times • Collected five multi-double games this season • Second-most doubles by catcher in a season in school history • First catcher to lead UNC in hitting since Josh Rowell in 1995 • Recorded the first multi-homer game of his career with a pair of blasts against VCU (2/28) • Smacked a career-best three doubles in the series finale against Stony Brook (3/5) • Drove in six runs with a grand slam and two-run homer against Penn State • Hit .400 through the first 20 games of the season with eight home runs • Went 7-for-13 with two runs, two doubles and an RBI against NC State, collecting four hits in the series opener • Recorded his third two-homer game of the season with two against Clemson in the ACC tournament semifinals.
