Sophomore (2014)
Appeared in 55 games and started 54, primarily at catcher • Hit .238 for the year with three home runs, seven doubles and 29 RBIs • Slugged a .326 and had a .333 on-base percentage • After missing most of the preseason and the first two weeks of the season with an illness, opened the year with homers in his first two starts against North Florida • His second homer against the Ospreys (3/1) was a grand slam • Strong-armed defensive catcher who threw out 23 would-be base stealers on the year • Had three hits in the NCAA Gainesville Regional, including a 2 for 4 outing in the win over host Florida, to earn all-region honors • Also hit safely in three of four ACC tournament games • Had a season-high three hits at Duke (3/29) • Drove in a season-best three runs in the home win over Gardner-Webb (3/12).

Appeared in 39 games, starting 14 at catcher • Hit .159 with three RBIs, five runs scored and two doubles • Did not commit an error in 130 total chances • Recorded his first career hit - a double - against Stony Brook (2/24) • Scored his first collegiate run and tallied his first RBI against California (3/2). Summer 2013: Appeared in 20 games for the Wilson Tobs of the Coastal Plain League • Hit .313 with 16 RBIs, 10 runs scored, six doubles and three home runs.
