AT DUKE (2024-2025)
• Played 100 games with 96 starts in his two seasons in Durham at both catcher and in the outfield, hitting .267 with 61 runs scored, 33 extra base hits, and 65 RBIs.
• Made 56 starts at catcher in 2025, logging a .278 batting average with 43 runs scored, 13 doubles, one triple, and nine home runs.
• Named to the Athens Regional All-Tournament Team after racking up four hits and two homers to see the Blue Devils take the regional.
• Holds a career .993 fielding percentage behind the dish with a little bit of time spent in the outfield as a freshman. Has thrown out 12 runners in 47 attempted steals for a 26% rate.
• Earned a spot on the 2025 Buster Posey Midseason Watch List.
HIGH SCHOOL
• Played for the Pro5 Baseball Academy with teammate Gavin Gallaher.
• No. 6 rated catcher in the country and No. 1 in the state of North Carolina.
• Competed on the 18U USA National Team which won a gold medal, playing in all eight games and hitting .400 with a home run and four RBIs.
• Two-time NCHSAA baseball state champion.

• Son of Allison and Leary.
• Has one brother, Nixon.
• Grew up on a sod farm. Loves to hunt and fish.
• Why UNC? – “There's a rich history of winning at UNC, and I've always wanted the chance to go to Omaha and win a national championship. Being around great people and great teammates is huge for me. The coaching staff is fun to be around and is great at development, and the culture within the team was at a place I knew I'd fit right in. Also, as a catcher I'm going to have the chance at catching one of the best pitching staffs in the country.”
