Batted .306 (45-for-147) in 58 games • Made 35 starts, mainly at designated hitter • Also played some first base o Finished fourth on the team with 27 runs batted in • Hit two home runs and added eight doubles • 142 of his 147 at-bats came versus right-handed pitching • Was 8-for-21 (.381) as a pinch-hitter • Recorded nine multi-hit games and was fourth on the team with eight multi-RBI games • Hit .327 in ACC play • Season-best four RBI came against St. Francis (N.Y.) on March 6 • Went 3-for-5 with three RBI versus Florida State on March 28 • Was 2-for-4 with three RBI against The Citadel in the NCAA Columbia Regional on June 5 • Went 5-for-10 with three RBI in four games at the Regional • Also drove in three runs against Seton Hall on February 22. Summer 2004: Batted .408 with three homers for the Raleigh Warriors.
