AT GEORGIA STATE (2023-2025)
• Career .295 hitter in 138 games with 121 starts at Georgia State, moving out to be the regular left fielder after playing in the infield as a freshman.
• Led the team in stolen bases (18) and was second in hits (68) in 2025.
• His 40 career stolen bases is the 7th most in Panthers’ history.
• Voted a team captain for the Panthers in his final season there.
AT SAMFORD (2022)
• Signed to play football and baseball, taking a redshirt year before transferring to Georgia State for just baseball.
HIGH SCHOOL
• Played both football and baseball for Newnan.
• Two-time region offensive player of the year on the gridiron.
• Three-time all-region selection on the diamond, winning the regional twice.
PERSONAL
• Son of Monique and Michael Maginnis.
• Has three younger siblings: Wills, Hayes, and Mae.
• Wills played with him at Georgia State and is still on the roster in 2026.
• Why UNC? – “When I came and visited I loved everything about UNC. It is an honor and a privilege to play at such a prestigious university and baseball program and it was an opportunity that I could not pass up!”
