Competed as a freshman after he received a waiver from the NCAA with the previous season’s cancellation due to a coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic • Appeared in 10 games as a relief pitcher • Posted a 1-0 record with a 2.89 ERA • Pitched 9.1 innings, surrendering three runs on seven hits with 10 strikeouts and eight walks • Averaged 9.64 strikeouts per nine innings • Held opposing hitters to a .212 batting average and didn’t allow an extra base hit • Struck out a season-high four batters in 2.1 innings at Virginia Tech (3/7) • Threw two innings of relief at Notre Dame (5/2) and Georgia Tech (5/22).
