Bio
AS A FRESHMAN (2025)
• Named a Freshman Second Team All-American by both D1Baseball and Baseball America.
• Appeared in 27 games, making three starts for the Diamond Heels.
• Spent most of the year as a key reliever before moving into a starting role in the postseason.
• Logged a 5-1 record and two saves with a 2.92 ERA and 72 strikeouts in 61.1 innings pitched.
• Finished in the top-10 in the ACC in a number of categories including ERA (2.92, 2nd), hits allowed per nine (6.46, 3rd), appearances (27, 6th), strikeouts per nine (10.57, 8th), and WHIP (1.13, 9th).
• In his three games as a starter, he combined for a 2.25 ERA with 18 strikeouts and a .167 opposing batting average in 16.0 IP.
• Made his first career start in the ACC tournament title game against Clemson (5/25), going 4.0 IP of shutout work with only two hits allowed and seven strikeouts to help UNC to its 27th conference championship.
• Picked up the win as the starter in the final game of the Chapel Hill Regional against Oklahoma (6/02), punching out six along the way.
• Pitched brilliantly in the final game of the season, recording a career-high 7.0 innings with five strikeouts against Arizona (6/08).
• Part of the pitching staff that had the third best ERA in the nation (3.47) and the best in the ACC for the second straight season.
• Recorded seven strikeouts in collegiate debut against Texas Tech (2/15). It was the most by a Carolina pitcher on their debut since 2021.
