Sophomore (2014)
Made 12 appearances with seven starts • Finished the season 2-2 with 26 strikeouts and a 4.01 ERA in 42.2 innings • Started against Florida State in the ACC tournament • Beat Gardner-Webb with 6.0 shutout innings (5/13) • Also got a win at Elon (5/7) after allowing four runs on just four hits in 5.2 innings • Was a hard-luck loser in both games against East Carolina • Allowed just one run in 6.0 innings against ECU in Chapel Hill (4/29), but took the loss in a 1-0 setback.
Freshman (2013)
Made eight appearances with one start during the season • Compiled an 8.10 ERA and a 1-0 record • Allowed nine earned runs and 16 hits in 10 innings pitched • Made his first career start in the ACC Championship final, throwing five innings and allowing just five hits and one earned run to beat Virginia Tech • Had a scoreless outing against Elon (4/17), retiring a pair of batters and striking out one • Tossed a scoreless and hitless inning and struck out one batter in his first collegiate appearance against Seton Hall (2/17). Summer 2013: Started eight games for the Madison Mallards of the Northwood League • Went 1-1 with a 3.94 ERA in 29.2 innings to help the Mallards to the league title.
