AS A SENIOR (2024)
• One of two players to start all 64 games for the Tar Heels, making every start at shortstop since the start of the 2023 season (124 consecutive) • Only player on the team to start every game and bat in the same position • Hit .270 with 13 doubles (third most on the team), a triple, and three homers, knocking in 33 RBIs • Posted career highs in batting average, hits (58), doubles, and RBIs in his final season • Started the year hot, recording multi-hit games in each of the first three contests of the year • Went 7-for-14 in the series against NC State with three runs and five RBIs • Record a 7-for-12 weekend series against Louisville with a pair of three-hit games.
AS A JUNIOR (2023)
Started all 60 games this season at shortstop • Posted career-highs in almost every statistical offensive category, including hits (52), home runs (2), RBIs (29) and walks (37) • Had the second-longest hitting streak on the team this season at 10 games • Helped turn 30 double plays and recorded a team-high 146 assists • Registered 12 multi-hit games, four three-hit games • Drove in the game-winning run with a squeeze bunt against NC State for a walk-off series opening win • Finished a double shy of the cycle at Pittsburgh (3/17), going 3-for-5 with a career-high five RBIs • Homered to lead-off the ninth at Notre Dame, starting a six-run rally that led to a 12-8 win.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2022)
Played in 34 games and made 19 starts, including the final 18 games of the season • Posted a final slash line of .222/.355/.270 with four RBIs and 14 runs scored • Recorded two extra base hits with a double against Wake Forest (5/14) and triple versus VCU (6/6) • Batted .450 (9-for-20) in the NCAA Tournament with an OPS of 1.127 • Ended the season on a four-game hitting streak • Collected a season-high three hits in the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional Opener against Hofstra, while scoring two runs and driving in a pair of runs • Registered three two-hit games • Helped turn 15 defensive double plays, including three in the series opener against Florida State.
AS A FRESHMAN(2021)
Played in 33 games and made 18 starts (17 second base, 1 shortstop) • Batted .254 with five RBIs • Posted an on-base percentage of .324 and slugging percentage of .302 • Recorded three multi-hit games and one multi-RBI game • Longest hitting streak of the year was four games • Went 4-for-4 with two doubles and three runs scored in the series finale against Duke (4/12) • Finished the series with the Blue Devils with six hits (6-for-9), four runs, three doubles and one RBI • Went 2-for-3 with two runs scored in the second game of a doubleheader against Miami (4/23).

Full name is Colby Todd Wilkerson • Son of Joan and Todd Wilkerson • Birthday is May 9 • Has one brother, Daniel, who played baseball at Randolph-Macon • Played travel baseball Dirtbags.
Why Carolina: I chose North Carolina because I have always been a fan of the Tar Heels growing up. It is close to home and I want to win a national championship here.
