Competed as a freshman after he received a waiver from the NCAA with the previous season’s cancellation due to a coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic • Played in seven games and made five starts at designated hitter • Batted .250 with one home run and five RBIs • Slugged .438 with an on-base percentage of .333 • Collected two hits and three RBIs in the NCAA regional opener against UCLA • Went 3-for-11 with four RBIs at the regional • Hit his lone home run of the season against Clemson (3/13).
