General: Three-year letter winner who is one of Carolina's most versatile swimmers...co-captain of the 2011-12 Tar Heels with senior Laura Moriarty...honorable mention All-America as a sophomore...competes in the freestyle sprints, fly, back and individual medley...helped set Tar Heel records in the 200-yard medley relay, 200-yard freestyle relay and 400-yard medley relay when she was a freshman...those marks were eclipsed by different relay units last season...graduate of Carolina Leadership Academy Veteran Leaders program.
Long Course Highlights: Qualified for the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials in the 200-meter individual medley.
2010-11 (Junior): Won the Andrea Erben Memorial Award as the Most Dedicated Swimmer on the squad...Dean's List honoree in both fall and spring semesters...named to All-ACC Academic Team...tapped for ACC Academic Honor Roll for the third straight year...a CSCAA Women's Scholar All-America honorable mention selection...scored in two events at the 2011 ACC Championships...she was seventh in the 200 IM in 2:00.20 and ninth in the 100 fly in 54.36...also finished 26th in the 200 back at 2:01.24.
2009-10 (Sophomore): Honorable mention All-America selection...swam the anchor leg on the 200-yard freestyle relay team which placed 15th...also swam the 200 IM and 100 fly at NCAAs...won the 100 fly in dual meets versus ECU and Georgia Tech...at the 2010 ACC Championships, she swam the butterfly leg on the 200 medley relay team which took second place...individually she placed sixth in the 200 IM, seventh in the 100 fly and 19th in the 100 free...won the Class of 1940 Blue Dolphin Award for service to the Tar Heel swimming program...named to the All-ACC Academic Swimming Team...earned mention on the 2009-10 ACC Academic Honor Roll...qualified for the Dean's List in both semesters of the 2009-10 school year.
2008-09 (Freshman): Had a tremendous ACC meet in three individual events and on three relays...placed seventh in the 200-yard IM after going a career best time in prelims of 1:59.68, moving her into fourth place in school history in the event...placed ninth in the 100-yard butterfly in 54.00, a time which moved her into third place in school history in the event...swam a career best time of 50.98 in the 100-yard freestyle in the prelims of the event...swam the butterfly leg of the 200-yard medley relay that broke the school record...anchored the 200-yard freestyle relay that broke the school mark...swam the butterfly leg on the 400-yard medley relay that also recorded a school record time...made the spring semester 2009 Dean's List...member of the 2008-09 ACC Academic Honor Roll.

Section #1: Swimming & Diving
1. The best thing about being a Tar Heel swimmer is my teammates! I love them!
2. My favorite thing about competing for Coach DeSelm is knowing he cares as much about the program and my teammates and I do.
3. Since last year the aspect of my training I've worked on the most is my breaststroke.
4. My best friend on another college swimming team is Katelyn Ishee at Indiana University.
5. My greatest strength as a swimmer is my work ethic and dedication.
Section #2: Hobbies& Interests
1. Away from the pool and academic pursuits I like to spend time with my friends and listening to music.
2. The best movie I've seen recently is Final Destination 5 3D!!
3. If I could compete in another sport at UNC it would be field hockey or lacrosse.
4. The music act I'd most like to see in person is Third Eye Blind.
5. The personal interest I have that might surprise my teammates is painting.
Section #3: Food & Beverage
1. After a big meet, I'd like to eat at a buffet spread that included Skyline Chili.
2. My favorite beverages are Diet Coke and Coffee.
3. My favorite food made by a relative is my Mom's meatloaf. It is delicious.
4. My favorite place to eat in Chapel Hill is Kildare's or Carolina Brewery.
5. My favorite guilty pleasure food wise is putting butter on everything.

1. If I possessed the gift of time travel I'd like to go to the Lewis and Clark expedition.
2. My most prized personal possession is my Kairos Cross.
3. If I could go to dinner with a famous person it would be Andrew McMahon.
4. My dream job is snorkel guide in the islands.
