General: Co-captain of Tar Heels in back-to-back season (2010-11 & 2011-12) ...a tremendous breaststroker and individual medley swimmer who has had a phenomenal career at Carolina...three-time All-ACC selection and a 2010 first-team All-America honoree... ranked in the top eight on the all-time list at UNC in five events...as a sophomore she set school, pool, ACC and ACC meet records in the 400 IM and the school, ACC and ACC meet records in the 200 breast and was a member of the 400 medley relay team which set a school mark...a Carolina Leadership Academy Veteran Leader and CLA Leader of Distinction.
Long Course Highlights: Qualified for the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials in the 100-meter breaststroke, 200-meter breaststroke, 200-meter IM and 400-meter IM.
2010-11 (Junior): Had three Top 3 finishes at the 2011 ACC Championships...was the ACC runner-up in the 200 breaststroke at 2:10.91 and in the 400 IM at 4:10.15...placed third in the 100 breaststroke in 1:01.26...named to Dean's List in both semesters of junior year...tapped for ACC Academic Honor Roll...was team tri-captain as a junior...was chosen for the CSCAA Women's Scholar All-America Team...captured the team's Hill Carrow Spirit Award for the second time in three years...named All-ACC for the third straight year...2011 NCAA Championships qualifier...won three events in dual meets versus Clemson and Kentucky and two events in meets against NC State and Virginia.
2009-10 (Sophomore): Carolina's sole first-team All-America...placed eighth in the 200-yard breast in 2:10.82...was an honorable mention All-America in the 400 IM with a 12th-place finish (4:09.97)...finished 26th in the 200 breast at NCAAs...ACC Swimmer of the Week on November 3, 2009...All-ACC honoree for the second straight year...won three individual ACC championships...won the 100 breast in 1:00.93, the 400 IM in 4:07.66 and tied for first in the 200 breast at 2:09.94...swam the breaststroke leg on the 400 medley relay which was second at ACCs...won the Jamerson Memorial Award as Carolina's most outstanding swimmer.
2008-09 (Freshman): As a freshman she broke UNC's 25-year-old school record in the 400-yard IM at the NCAA Championships with a time of 4:10.85, a time which gave her a 19th-place finish...won the team's 2009 Hill Carrow Spirit Award...won the 200-yard breaststroke in a time of 2:14.91 at the 2009 Swimming World College Carnival...went a personal best time in the 200-yard breaststroke at the ACC Championships in a time of 2:11.12...took second place in the 400-yard IM at ACCs in a time of 4:11.60...All-ACC performer in the 200-yard breaststroke and 400-yard IM...earned NCAA invitations in the 200-yard breaststroke and 400-yard IM.
Prep: Graduated from Methuen High School...participated in swimming all four years of high school...named team captain her senior year...three-time state champion in the 100 breaststroke...three-time state runner-up in the 100 butterfly...holds the state record in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke...honored with the Boston Globe, Boston Herald and Eagle-Tribune All-Scholastic Award three times...named MVP three times...earned Scholastic All-America Award two years...National Honor Society member.

Section #1: Swimming & Diving
1. The best thing about being a Tar Heel swimmer is the pride of swimming for UNC and my team.
2. My favorite thing about competing for Coach DeSelm is the fact that he also swam for UNC and coaches with the same passion that we swim with.
3. Since last year the aspect of my training I've worked on the most is tempo and backstroke.
4. My greatest strength as a swimmer is that I hate to lose.
Section #2: Hobbies & Interests
1. Away from the pool and academic pursuits I like to spend time being with friends and family.
2. The best movie I've seen recently is The Fighter.
3. If I could compete in another sport at UNC it would be volleyball.
4. The music act I'd most like to see in person is Nicki Minaj and Drake.
5. The personal interest I have that might surprise my teammates is that I love to cook.
Section #3: Food & Beverage
1. After a big meet, I'd like to eat at a buffet spread that included pasta and garlic bread.
2. My favorite beverage is coffee.
3. My favorite food made by a relative is "The Special", which is chicken Alfredo and vegetables by my Dad.
4. My favorite place to eat in Chapel Hill is Noodles & Co.
5. My favorite guilty pleasure food wise is ice cream.
