Played at Oak Mountain High School in Birmingham for Coach Chris Love • Averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds in three seasons • Led Oak Moumtain to a pair of state semifinals and one state championship • Overall record of 65-29 over • Shot 62% from the floor, 35% from three and 80% from the free throw line • Scored more than 20 points 10 times as a junior (his final season of scholastic competition) • Earned all-state honors twice • First-team All-Shelby County.
