2018-19: Cusick represents the men’s swimming & diving team on the Student-Athlete Advisory Council • Member of Carolina Leadership Academy’s highest level, Accelerate.

2017-18: Swam three season bests at the ACC Championships including times of 48.45, 48.02 and 1:44.96 in the 100-yard back, 100-yard fly, and 200-yard back • Collected seven top-three finishes over the course of the season • Swam a leg of the 200-yard medley relay that finished second against Penn State and Navy as well as against Georgia.

2016-17: Won the team’s Hill Carrow Spirit Award • At the 2017 ACC Championships he tied for 13th in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:43.92 • Was 21st in the 100-yard backstroke at 48.08 and 24th in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 48.23 • At the 2016 GAC Invitational, he took 13th place in the 100-yard butterfly and 14th place in the 100-yard backstroke.

2015-16: Named to CSCAA Scholar honorable mention All-America Team • Member of scoring team at ACC Championships, where he finished 13th in the 200-yard backstroke in 1:45.26 • At 2015 Nike Cup Championships, he placed 16th in the 100 fly with a time of 50.19, 14th in the 200 back (1:50.12) and 16th in the 100 backstroke (50.55).

Prep: A 2015 graduate of Alpharetta High School • Captain of team as junior and senior • Three-time team most valuable performer • 5-time high school All-America selection • Coached by Lisa Marshall • Holds team records in 100 back, 100 fly, 200 IM and as a member of medley and freestyle relays • 2015 Georgia high school champion in 200 IM and as the anchor on the 400 freestyle relay team • 2015 first-team Georgia high school All-State honoree • Graduated with service honors for volunteering over 150 hours during high school with Young Men’s Service League and Christ The Shepherd Lutheran Church • 3-time scholar athlete honoree • Church group peer leader for three years.
