2000-2001: Valuable performer in the distance freestyle for the Tar Heels…at the 2001 ACC Championships, he recorded a lifetime best in the 1000 free (9:29.46)…selected to the Dean’s List in the fall semester…also named to the prestigious Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll.

1999-2000: Recipient of team’s Most Improved Swimmer Award…at the 2000 ACC Championships, he recorded personal best times in the 200 freestyle, 500 freestyle, and 1650 freestyle…ACC Academic Honor Roll honoree.

1998-99: Named to 1999 Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll...tapped for Dean’s List in fall semester of 1998.
