2018-19: Team Co-Captain • Sellers represents the men’s swimming & diving team on the Student-Athlete Advisory Council.
2017-18: Finished 23rd in the 100-yard breaststroke C final after clocking a personal best time of 54.52 in the prelims at the ACC Championships • Also swam 1:59.34 and 1:51.01 for season bests in the 200-yard breast and 200-yard IM • Earned two third-place finishes against Texas in the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststrokes • Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll • CSCAA Scholar All-America Honorable Mention.
2016-17: Member of Rising Star program in Carolina Leadership Academy • Named to 2016-17 ACC Academic Honor Roll • At the 2017 ACC Championships, he placed 19th in the 200-yard breaststroke, going 1:59.06.
2015-16: At Carolina College Invitational, he took second place in 200 breast (2:00.56), third place in 200 IM (1:50.86) and fifth place in 100 breaststroke (56.32) • Named to ACC Academic Honor Roll.
Prep: Attended Jesuit High School in Tampa, Fla. from 2011-15 • Coached in high school by Bill Shaffer • 2014 FHSAA Class 2A champion in 100-yard breaststroke and runner-up in 200-yard individual medley • Swam on 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay teams that each finished second in state championships • Led high school team to second place finish in 2014 FHSAA state meet, the highest finish in school history • Jesuit most outstanding swimmer in 2012 & 2013 • Jesuit MVP in 2014 • Holds JHS records in the 100 breast, 200 IM and as a member of 400 free relay squad • Captain of high school swim team • Three-time scholastic All-America • NISCA All-America in 100-yard breaststroke • 2014 Brighthouse Sports Network boys swimmer of the year • Principal’s Honor Roll all four years of high school • Member of National Honor Society. • Member of Rho Kappa History Honor Society • Performed 320 hours of community service in high school for helping the homeless and children with needs • Graduated Summa Cum Laude • Member of Keystone United Methodist Church.
