Career Best Times: 1:58.17 in the 200-yard butterfly; 4:13.00 in the 400-yard individual medley; 4:47.01 in the 500-yard freestyle; 9:58.70 in the 1000-yard freestyle; 16:30.57 in the 1650-yard freestyle; 8:55.68 in the 800-meter freestyle; 2:18.15 in the 200-meter individual medley; 4:51.52 in the 400-meter individual medley; 2:14.96 in 200-meter butterfly; 4:18.15 in 400-meter freestyle.
General: Ranks in the Top 10 in pair of events in UNC short course history…is the seventh fastest 400-yard individual medleyist at 4:13.00 and the ninth fastest 200-yard butterflier at 1:58.17...has been named Dean’s List in three semesters...two-time ACC Honor Roll selection...named twice to CSCAA honorable mention Scholar All-America.
2015-16: At 2015 Nike Cup she placed fifth in the 400 IM (4:21.83), eighth in the 1650 freestyle (16:36.07) and 12th in the 200 fly (2:03.78)…won two events in win over Navy, taking 200 fly (2:02.91) and 500 free (4:57.02)…Leadership Lab participant in bCLA...qualified for 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials in 200 IM and 400 IM…placed 30th in 400 IM at Olympic Trials in 400 IM at 4:51.52…selected for ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2014-15: Had an excellent ACC Championships...scored in three individual events...placed 10th in the 400 IM (4:51.75), 10th in the 1650 free (16:34.40) and 16th in the 500 free (4:51.72)...overall female winner of 2014 Pier-to-Pier open water race in Wrightsville Beach, N.C. with a time of 37:36...at 2014 Nike Cup, she placed 7th in the 400 IM (4:20.53) and 10th in the 1650 free (16:59.78) ...fall semester 2014 Dean’s List honoree...named to 2014-15 ACC Academic Honor Roll...honorable mention CSCAA Scholar All-America...a Rising Star in the Carolina Leadership Academy.
2013-14: Had a standout freshman season…recorded five career best times in the Bulldog Invitational in the 500 free, 1000 free, 1650 free, 200 fly and 400 IM…excelled in dual meets throughout the season…won the 500 and 1000-yard freestyle events against Duke…at the Nike Cup, she placed in four events, including 7th place in the 400-yard IM (4:18.61), 8th place in the 500-yard freestyle (4:52.74), 9th in the 1650-yard freestyle (16:58.32) and 16th in the 200-yard butterfly (2:10.43)…during long course season she competed in the Arena Grand Prix…finished 15th in the 200-meter butterfly in 2:16.94 at that meet…missed an invite to the NCAA Championships by just 0.37 seconds in the 400 IM …honored with the CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar All-America Award…named to the ACC Honor Roll…earned accolades on the Dean’s List in both semesters.
Prep: Coached by Bill Forrester at Calvary Day School and the Georgia Coastal Aquatic Team…prior to moving to Savannah she competed at Swim Macon for coach Lee Stockslager…one of the most versatile swimmers in the 2013 recruiting class…2013 World Championships Trials qualifier in the 200 fly and 400 IM…achieved 2012 Olympic Trials standards in three long course events (200 fly, 2:16.30; 400 IM, 4:53.88; 400 free, 4:18.15)…also attended First Presbyterian Day School in Macon, Ga. (2009-11), prior to attending Calvary Day (2012-13)…swam three years in high school and on her club team from 2001-2013…at the high school state meet she concentrated on the 500 freestyle and 200 IM…with her club team she was primarily a middle distance freestyler, butterflier and IM swimmer…Georgia Zone Team member and zone champion as a 14-year-old in the 400 IM, 400 free and 200 IM in 2010…scholastic All-America with a 4.0 GPA her sophomore and junior years…high school All-America in the 500 free in 2012 after receiving All-America consideration the previous two years…her high school team, consisting of just four members, placed eighth at the Georgia A-AAAA state meet…has achieved multiple Top 10 NAG rankings, won multiple Georgia LSC championships and Southeastern sectional crowns…also a Junior National finalist at the U.S.S. level…three-time Scholastic All-America…won Georgia state high school championship (A-AAAA) in 500 free as a junior (4:50.79) and was runner-up in the 200 IM (2:04.84)…as a sophomore in the same meet she had been the state runner-up in the 500 free at 4:57.15…National Honor Society member…four-year high honor roll student, maintaining a 4.0 all through high school…AP Scholar…National Merit Commended Student…class valedictorian…member of Mu Alpha Theta math honor society and the French Club…took 11th place in 2011 in a National French contest…sang in chorus and participated in many community theatre events and school plays.
