Has been an outstanding part of the Tar Heel diving corps for three years...was named the team’s most improved performer as a freshman...three-time returning letter winner...trained with the Jayhawk Diving Club in suburban Kansas City before coming to Chapel Hill...was coached there by current UNC diving coach Kevin Lawrence.
2002-03:
Finished 12th on the three-meter board at the ACC Championships with 399.90 points...was 17th on the one-meter board with a score of 210.50 points...named to the 2002-03 ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2001-02:
Named to Dean’s List both semesters of 2001-02 school year...chosen for 2002 ACC Academic Honor Roll...placed 12th in one-meter diving and 14th in three-meter diving at the ACC Championships.
2000-01:
Was named the Most Improved Perfomer on the Tar Heel women’s swimming and diving team...was named to the Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll...placed 13th on the one-meter board and 16th on the three-meter board at the ACC Championships.
Prep:
Graduated on May 20, 2000 from Blue Valley North High School in Overland Park, Kan....played volleyball in high school...was a member of a two-time state championship team...took third place in the state in diving as a senior and was named a high school All-America...with the Jayhawk Diving Club she qualified for the West Coast Nationals in 1999...was a member of the BVNHS band for four years...selected for membership in the National Honor Society...was also a member of the National Art Honor Society.
