General: 2017-18 team captain…member of 2017-18 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee…holds two school records…UNC school record holder in the 200-yard breaststroke at 1:54.68 and in the 200-meter breaststroke at 2:14.84…set short course record at 2017 ACC Championships and long course record at 2017 U.S. Open… ranks as the third fastest performer in UNC history in the 100-yard breaststroke at 53.66 seconds…Veteran Leader in Carolina Leadership Academy.
2016-17: Finished ninth in the 200-meter breaststroke at the 2017 U.S. Open in August and in the process set a new University long course record at 2:14.84, breaking a UNC mark which had stood for 15 years…at the 2017 ACC Championships he set a school record in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:54.68, taking fifth in the event while placing 13^th in the 100-yard breaststroke at 53.66…was the recipient of the Richard E. Jamerson Memorial Award as UNC’s most improved swimmer for the second straight year…also received the Bruce Webster Memorial Award as the squad’s most dedicated performer… placed ninth in the 200-yard breaststroke at December 2016 AT&T U.S. Swimming winter nationals)…snagged seventh place in the 200-yard breaststroke at 2016 GAC Invitational while also taking 12^th in the 100-yard breaststroke.
2015-16: At 2016 the ACC Championships, he tied for 13th place in 100 breaststroke (54.48) while reaching the championship final in the 200 breaststroke where he placed seventh in 1:56.61…recipient of the Richard E. Jamerson Award as Carolina’s most improved swimmer…named to 2015-16 ACC All-Academic Team…qualified for 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials in 100-meter and 200-meter breaststroke events…at 2015 Nike Cup, he garnered ninth place in the 100 breaststroke (55.79) and seventh place in the 200 breaststroke (2:01.80)…took first place in 200 breaststroke (2:01.02) in dual meet against NC State and Virginia.
2014-15: Named to Dean’s List in spring semester 2015...garnered 2014-15 ACC Academic Honor Roll status...honorable mention CSCAA Scholar All-America...at the Bulldog Invitational, he established a career best in the 200-yard breaststroke and was one-tenth of a second shy of his personal best in the 100-yard breaststroke...placed 10th in the 200-yard breaststroke and 15th in the 100-yard breaststroke at 2014 Nike Cup...at the 2015 Carolina College Invitational he took third place in the 200 breast and fourth place in the 100 breast.
