1999-2000: At the 2000 ACC Championships, swam season bests in the 200 back (2:05.67), 200 IM, and 400 IM…Dean’s List student both fall and spring semesters…ACC Academic Honor Roll…One of only two UNC student-athletes with a perfect 4.0 GPA for the 1999-00 school year.
1998-99: Named to 1999 Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll...tapped for Dean's List in fall semester of 1998...also selected for Dean's List in spring semester of 1999.
Prep: Graduated as the valedictorian of S.R. Butler High School on May 28, 1998...was a National Merit Scholar...member of the National Honor Society...named Miss Butler High School her senior year...1996, 1997 and 1998 U.S. Swimming Scholastic All-America Team selection...four-year member of the swim team, swimming the 100 back, 100 fly and 200 IM...team captain her junior and senior years...most valuable swimmer all four years...was state champion in the 100-yard butterfly her junior year...was all-state choice for four years in a row.
