General: Two-time letterman comes into the season as one of the Tar Heels' top individual medley swimmers and butterflier...made two ACC championship finals as a freshman...last year he ranked No. 2 on the UNC depth chart in the 200 IM and third in the 200 fly.

2004-05: Turned in another solid ACC Championships performance...scored six points for the team by finishing 11th in the 200-yard butterfly touching in at 1:50.48...competed in the 200-yard individual medley.

2003-04: Swam an excellent ACC Championships meet...was the top Tar Heel finisher in the 200-yard individual medley in sixth place with a time of 1:50.88...made his second championship final, placing eighth in the 400-yard individual medley...won the consolation final of the 200-yard butterfly in a career best 1:48.78 to take ninth place.

Prep: Graduated from Wando High School in May 2003...was a member of the swimming team there for four years, competing primarily in the 200 IM and 500 free...captain of high school squad...he won the 2003 South Carolina state championship in both the 500-yard freestyle and 200-yard individual medley...was 2003 S.C. high school swimmer of the year...member of Wando state championship team...two-year high school Scholastic All-America selection...attended South Carolina Boys State...member of the National Honor Society...a Beta Club member...with his club team, he was the 2000, 2002 and 2003 long and short course state meet high point scorer...won the 2002 and 2003 Howard Wheeler Awards...national qualifier in the 200 and 400 IMs...four-time club team MVP.
