General: Third talented freshman diver joining the Tar Heel program in 1999-2000...was recruited by Coach Nunzio Esposto from the Lords of the Boards program where she was coached by Fred and Leslie Woodruff...competed for the Lords of the Boards program for nine years.
Prep: Graduated in 1999 from Somerville High School...four-year varsity diver there...competed in track for three years in the discus and the shot put...YMCA All-America in diving for five years...first-team All-Area selection in both diving and track...was both the county champion and conference champion in diving...county record holder in diving...All-County and All-Conference selection in both diving and track...was salutatorian of high school class...served as treasurer of National Honor Society...a National Merit Scholar.
