2005-06: Won Jamerson Award as Most Improved Swimmer...set a personal best at the ACC Championshps by swimming a 56.77 in the 100-yard butterfly...then later bested her top 100-yard back time with a 57.55 at the ACC meet.

Prep: Graduated from Athens Drive High School in Raleigh, N.C. on May 26, 2005...was a five-time All-America relay swimmer...part of the 2004 Junior National Champion team...captain of the Athens Drive swim team her senior year...an honors scholar and given the Presidential Academic awards...also played soccer for nine years.
