Competed in the 200-yard, 500-yard and 1650-yard free at the ACC Championships • Swam season-best times of 1:35.81 and 15:24.98 for 13th and 26th in the 200- and 1650-yard freestyles • Finished 15th in the 500-yard free B final at ACCs, clocking in at 4:22.54 after swimming 4:19.59 in the prelims • Also swam a leg of the 800-yard free relay that finished ninth with a time of 6:22.78 • Won the 200-yard freestyle against South Carolina and finished the event in 1:38.03 • Won the 200-yard freestyle again in the meet against Virginia Tech with a finishing time of 1:38.61 • Swam a season best in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 9:26.03, earning third place against Duke • Collected eleven top-three finishes over the course of the season • Member of the 4.0 GPA Club • Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll • CSCAA Scholar All-America Honorable Mention.

Competed for Greece at World Championships in Hungary in 2017 in the 200- and 400-meter freestyle events • Swam for Greece at LEN European Aquatics Championships in London in 2016, swimming the 400-meter freestyle under the LEN European Championships cut • Competed at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games • He was just 0.37 seconds under the Olympic Games 400-meter freestyle cut, receiving a FINA invitation • Placed second in the 400-meter freestyle and seventh in the 200-meter freestyle at the European Junior Championships held in Baku, Azerbaijan in June 2015 • Took first place in the 200-meter freestyle ad second place in the 400-meter freestyle at an international swimming meet held in Israel in April 2015 • Captured first place in both the 200- and 400-meter freestyle events at the Balkan Junior Championships in Oradea, Romania in April 2015 • Placed ninth in the 200-meter freestyle at the World Junior Championship held in Singapore.
