General: Two-year letter winner...an incredible breaststroker and individual medley swimmer who broke two ACC records and another school record at the ACC Championships her freshman year...currently holds school records in the 100 breast and 200 IM...also part of Carolina's 200 medley relay team that holds the school mark...her time in the 100 breast is an ACC and ACC meet standard...was the only Tar Heel to earn an NCAA automatic qualifying time in 2008-09...named ACC Women's Freshman of the Year in 2008-09, the first Tar Heel to win the award since Jessi Perruquet in 2001.

Section #1: Swimming & Diving
1. The best thing about being a Tar Heel swimmer is getting to simultaneously take advantage of a phenomenal athletic department and a prestigious educational institution.
2. My favorite thing about competing for Coach DeSelm is playing an active role in achieving his goal of taking Carolina swimming & diving to the elite level at which it is capable of competing.
3. Since my last competitive season, the aspects of my training I've worked on the most are increasing my aerobic base, making some technique changes and getting stronger.
4. My best friend on another college swimming team is Anna Griest at Bucknell.
5. My greatest strength as a swimmer is that I hate to lose.
Section #2: Hobbies & Interests
1. Away from the pool and academics, I like to spend time making art, watching movies, cooking and reading. 2. On a long bus trip, I'd like to watch something terrifying.
3. If I could compete in another sport at UNC it would be volleyball.
4. If I received free concert tickets via a radio or Internet promotion I would love to see Sugarland.
5. The one interest I have that people would be surprised to know is I like watching the news.
Section #3: Food
1. After a big meet I'd love to see a buffet spread that included a huge bowl of fresh fruit, gnocchi with pesto and something chocolate.
2.My favorite beverages are coffee and tea.
3. I'm allowed to enter a room with unlimited snacks; one room has the salty stuff, the other sweet stuff? Which room do I enter and why? Sweet, because that's what I prefer.
4. My favorite food made by a relative is my Mother's black bean soup. It's to die for.
5. On my birthday, I'd love to be treated by my friends to dinner at MF Sushi Bar in Atlanta.
Section #4: Personality
1. If I possessed the gift of time travel I would go to the Bay area in the 1960s. So much history was being made politically, culturally and musically. I would've loved to be a part of it all.
2. My most prized personal possessions are my Bible and my sketchbook.
3. My iTunes library includes 3000 songs, including a little bit of everything.
4. In a perfect world where making money was not a consideration my dream job would be mission or service work.
5. The most interesting person I've met in my time at UNC is every single person I've gotten to know through the NC Fellows Program.
