2018-19: Cooke represents the women’s track & field team on the Student-Athlete Advisory Council.
2017-18: Finished 20th at the NCAA Outdoor East Preliminary Round in the hammer throw with a mark of 194-2 • Ranks fifth all-time in the women’s hammer after throwing a personal best 196-7 at the Battle of the Blues • Capped her indoor season with first-team All-ACC honors after finishing second in the weight throw at the ACC Championships with a new personal record of 66-6 (20.27m) • Moved into second all-time in the women’s weight throw at UNC following her conference championship performance • Won the weight throw competitions at the UNC Open and at the Notre Dame Invitational • Had a top-five finish in all seven of her indoor appearances • Racked up a total of six top-five outdoor finishes in the shot put, hammer throw, and javelin • Represented women’s track and field on the UNC Student-Athlete Advisory Council.
2016-17: Took ninth in hammer at the ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, setting a new personal best of 181-11, which ranks fifth in UNC history • Had two top-five finishes in hammer and one in shot put during the outdoor season • Scored at the indoor conference meet in weight throw, finishing eighth • Moved into second place in UNC history in the weight throw with her throw of 64-9 ¼ (19.74 meters) at the Doc Hale VT Elite • Had four top-five finishes in the weight throw • Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2015-16: Set personal records in the shot put, weight throw, hammer and discus • Took 11th in the hammer at the outdoor conference meet • Finished 16th in shot put at the ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships • Reached the podium four times during the outdoor season • Threw for a lifetime best 58-8 ¾ (17.90 meters) in the weight throw at the ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships and took 11th in the competition • Finished third in the weight throw at the Kent Taylor Invitational • Placed first in the weight throw and the shot put at the Joe Hilton Invitational picking up her first collegiate wins • Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2014-15: Redshirted the indoor and outdoor seasons.
Prep: Four-year letter-winner in track and field and volleyball • 3-time NCHSAA 2A state champion in the shot put • 2012 NCHSAA 2A Volleyball state champions • Member of the National Honors Society, National Society of High School Scholars, DREAM team/TRU club, and Magma Cum Laude • A North Carolina Scholar and an honor graduate.
Personal: Alexandria Danielle Cooke is the daughter of Tabitha and Kevin Senter • Born February 21 • Participated in the 2017 Coach For College program • She used to compete competitively in cheerleading for Cheer Extreme.
