Freshman Season: Appeared in 19 matches at outside hitter for the Tar Heels • Had a breakout match at Loyola Marymount, finishing with 17 kills and just three errors • That sparked a stretch of five-straight double-digit kill matches, including a career-high 25 against Wichita State Sept. 9 • Recorded her first career double-double (11 kills, 11 digs) at Georgia Tech Oct. 13 • Finished the season with 181 kills and a 3.23 kills per game average • Her kill average was tops on the team.
Prep: All-Tournament team member on her U18 team that won at the Junior Olympic Nationals • Four-year letterwinner in volleyball • MVP of the 2004 state championship match • County player of the year in 2004 • Two-time conference player of the year.
