2022-23 (Senior): Competed in five events on the year • Saw action once with the 2V8 crew and four times with the 1V4 • Made season debut with the 1V4 at the Carolina Cup (3/4) • Competed with the 2V8 boat at the Sunshine State Invitational (4/1) • Helped the 2V8 crew advance to the finals at the Sunshine State Invitational (6:56.03) • Part of the 1V4 boat which advanced to the Grand Finals at the 2023 ACC Rowing Championships • Named to the All-ACC Academic Team • Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll
2021-22 (Junior): Competed in nine races at 1V4 and 2V4 • Finished first (9:05.90) against UCF and second (8:55.40) against Tennessee in the First Varsity 4+ boat at the UVA Invitational (3/26) • Notched a second place finish (8:39.26) against Boston College (4/2) in the First Varsity 4+ boat • Took first place in the First Varsity 4+ race against George Washington (4/2) • Finished second in the Second Varsity 4+ Petite Final at ACC Championships • Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll
2020-21 (Sophomore): Was a part of the Second Varsity 4+ that finished second against UCF with a time of 8:10.9 • Competed for the Second Varsity 4+ B in the Lake Wheeler Invitational, finishing second in heats (7:33.60) to advance to the A Finals, placing fourth overall (7:47.74) • Her First Varsity 4+ team finished first in the Petite Final at the ACC Championships with a time of 7:58.10
2019-20 (Freshman):
Before UNC: Named the Orange High School Female Athlete of the Year in 2019 • Three-year letter winner in basketball • Named captain as a senior • Helped her team to a conference championship as a sophomore • Four-year letter winner in outdoor track & field • Two-year team captain • Named runner of the year in 2018 and MVP in 2019 • School record holder in the 300M hurdles and 4x400M relay • Played sixth in the 300M hurdles at the North Carolina 3A State Championships • Four-year letter winner in cross country • Two-year team captain.
Personal: Daughter of Clint and Alisa Burgess • Cousin, Carson Burgess, is on the football team at UNC
