2002 Season—Finalist for Missouri Athletic Club/Hermann Trophy...second-team All-ACC selection...Soccer Buzz honorable mention All-America selection...third-team All-Southeast Region by NSCAA and second-team All-Southeast Region by Soccer Buzz...named ACC Player of the Week September 9, 2002 after her play in the Nike Carolina Classic...had another dynamic year for the Tar Heels...she finished second on the team in points with 46 and she led the team in goals with 17...she also had 12 assists...she played in all 27 games, starting 25 times...she scored game-winning goals against Guilford, Stanford when the Cardinal was undefeated and No. 1-ranked and in the NCAA quarterfinal versus Texas A&M...her top point game of the season was against Guilford with six (2g, 2a)...was superb against Texas A&M in the NCAA quarterfinals with two goals and one assist...scored twice in the regular season win at Wake Forest...had a goal and an assist in the NCAA third round against Tennessee and versus Washington in the Nike Carolina Classic...in three ACC Tournament games she had six assists, including three in the semifinal win over Maryland...that equalled her high for assists in a game in her career...she also scored single goals in games against Nebraska, Texas A&M (regular season), Texas, FIU, Oregon, Stanford, Saint Mary’s. 2001 Season—Really came into her own as a sophomore...was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2001 ACC Tournament after leading the Tar Heels to the championship...was named second-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference...was twice named to Soccer America’s National Team of the Week during the 2001 season...was named on both September 25 and November 12...led the Atlantic Coast Conference in scoring with 49 points, in assists with 19, in scoring average with 1.96 points per game and in assists per game with 0.76...finished third in the ACC with 15 goals and third in goals per game with 0.60...named first-team All-Southeast Region by the NSCAA and by Soccer Buzz...a third-team All-America selection by Soccer Buzz...was named Most Valuable Player of the 2001 Duke adidas Classic...her 19 assists in 2001 equaled the sixth most in a single season in UNC history...she had four game-winning goals for the 2001 Tar Heels--both Penn State games, as well as against Missouri and against Wake Forest in the ACC Tournament...had her career game against Georgia with three goals and two assists...was also on the top of her game at Virginia where she scored twice and added one assist...had four points in a game four times with two goals against Wake Forest in the ACC Tournament semifinals and one goal and two assists against Missouri and in both games against Florida State...had one goal and one assist against Charlotte and in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals against Penn State...her other goals came against Penn State in the regular season and Auburn...had single assists against Duke in the regular season and the NCAA Tournament, Clemson, Ohio State, UNC Greensboro, Rutgers and Portland...played in all 25 games, starting 24 times.
2000 Season—Was one of the top freshmen in the nation...saw action in 23 games for the Tar Heels, earning 22 starting assignments...on the season she recorded 15 goals and had 15 assists for 45 points...she ranked second in the ACC in points with 45, second in goals with 15 and second in assists with 15...she was also second in the ACC in scoring average (1.96 points per game), in goals per game (0.65) and in assists per game (0.65)...she scored three game-winning goals—against Oregon and NC State (regular season) as well as the game winner in the ACC Tournament championship game against Duke...had five points in a game twice—in her debut at Texas (2g, 1a) and in her home debut against Virginia (1g, 3a)...had four points in a game four times—against Tennessee (2g), Duke in the regular season (1g, 2a), against NC State (2g) in the ACC Tournament and against Wake Forest in the NCAA second round (2g)...had a goal and an assist in wins over Oregon and versus Duke in the championship game of the ACC Tournament...had a two-assist game against South Carolina...scored single goals against Texas A&M, NC State (regular season) and Maryland...recorded one assist in games versus William & Mary, TCU, Florida State (ACC Tournament), Connecticut in the NCAA quarterfinals and UCLA in the NCAA championship game...she made a nifty pass to Meredith Florance who then scored the game-tying goal in the 76th minute of the NCAA championship game against the Bruins...named a third-team All-America by Soccer Buzz...was an honorable mention All-America selection as named by Soccer Times...earned first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors...finished second in the ACC in both assists and points...tapped for the ACC’s All-Freshman Team...was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Week on September 4, 2000...named All-Southeast Region first team by Soccer Buzz...was also named to Soccer Buzz’s Southeast Region All-Freshman squad...named to the Freshman All-America Team by Soccer Times...was also named to Soccer America’s All-Freshman Team.
