General Information
A two-time returning letter winner who was solid addition to the Tar Heels' deep midfield corps in 2009 • returns to the team after redshirting in 2011 due to injury • is the younger sister of Monica Welsh-Loveman, who played goalkeeper for the Tar Heels for three years (2007-09).
Junior Season (2011)
Redpshirted in 2011 due to injury • named to the 2012 ACC Academic Honor Roll.
Sophomore Season (2010)
Named to ACC Academic Honor Roll for 2010-11 school year • saw action in two games for the Tar Heels, totaling 36 minutes • saw the field in ACC wins over Miami and Clemson.
Freshman Season (2009)
Named to the fall semester 2009 Dean's List and the 2009-10 ACC Academic Honor Roll • did not see any game action but was a key practice player for the Tar Heels on an NCAA championship team.
ODP, National Teams & Club Soccer
Began playing club soccer at age nine • member of the MPS Boston Renegades for five years, including four years as captain • played on club teams which won multiple championships • the team was the Needham (Mass.) Tournament champions 2008 and 2009, US Club soccer regional champions in 2008 (in New Jersey) and state semifinalists in 2008 and 2009 • played on the Super Y-League ODP Team in 2006.

1. The best thing about being a Tar Heel soccer player is the family atmosphere.
2. My favorite thing about competing for Coach Dorrance is a tossup between sending him funny emails and the life talks we have in his office.
3. Since last year the aspect of my training I've worked on the most is getting healthy.
4. My best friend on another college soccer team is Rachel Wood at UC-Irvine.
5. My greatest strength as a soccer player is my speed.
Section #2: Interests
1. Away from the soccer field and academic pursuits I like to spend time writing, playing guitar, playing other sports and spending time with friends and my dog.
2. The best movie I've seen recently is Crazy Stupid Love.
3. If I could compete in another sport at UNC it would be tennis.
4. The act I'd most like to see in person is Eric Church.
5. The personal interest I have that might surprise my teammates is writing.
Section #3: Food & Beverage
1. After a game at Fetzer Field, I'd like to see a buffet spread at McCaskill that included mangoes, avacados, beans and plantains.
2. My favorite beverage is water.
3. My favorite food made by a relative is my family's Thanksgiving dinner, specifically the stuffing.
4. My favorite place to eat in Chapel Hill is Foster's Market.
5. My favorite guilty pleasure food wise Lenny and Larry's lemon poppyseed vegan cookies.

1. If I possessed the gift of time travel I'd like to go to 2011 to be with my old dog Geneva again.
2. My most prized personal possession is my dog Bolt.
3. If I could go to dinner with a famous person it would be Eric Church, as long as it's dinner and drinks.
4. My dream job is working for a country artist in some capacity.
5. The most interesting person I've met at UNC is Emma Brink. She tells the best stories.
