Club Soccer--Member of Michigan ODP State Team since 1997...from 1998 on she successively earned spots on the Under-16, Under-18, Under-19, Under-21 and full U.S. National Teams...led Michigan ODP teams to national titles in February 2000 and 2001, winning the adidas Golden Boot the second year...played for the Michigan Hawks club team which won the Snickers Club National title in August 2001 and the WAGS Premier Cup championship in 2001...won MVP honors at the Snickers Tournament.
2004 Season - After returning to Carolina from the Olympic Team, it was expected she would have another outstanding year...however, she suffered a broken right fibula against Virginia Tech on September 26 and saw her playing time limited the remainder of the season...played in 14 games overall, starting 11...scored five goals and had four assists for 14 points...had a goal and an assist against Mississippi State...had two assists against Georgia, including an assist on the game-winner...had a monster game against William & Mary in the NCAA Tournament second round with three goals and one assist...named to 2005 ACC Academic Honor Roll...also earned membership on spring 2005 Dean's List.
2003 Season--Won five National Player of the Year awards after a phenomenal sophomore season...won the awards given by Soccer America, Soccer Times, Soccer Buzz, Soccer Post and Sports Illustrated on Campus...was also a finalist for the MAC/Hermann Award and the Honda Soccer Award...consensus first-team All-America, earning honors from Soccer Times, Soccer Buzz, Soccer America, Soccer Post, CSTV and the NSCAA...led the nation in total points with 73 and in assists with 27...also had 23 goals in a spectacular scoring campaign...her 73 points were the fourth most in a season in UNC history while her 23 goals tied for 10th best total in school lore and her 27 assists were the third highest mark in a single campaign...was named first-team All-ACC for the second straight year...was the ACC Player of the Year and the Most Valuable Player of the ACC Tournament...was the first player to win those two awards and lead the ACC in scoring since Mia Hamm in 1993...won honors as the Soccer Buzz Southeast Region Player of the Year...named first-team All-Southeast Region by both Soccer Buzz and the NSCAA...captured All-Tournament Team honors at both the NCAA Championship and the ACC Tournament...named the ACC Player of the Week on October 6 and chosen for the Soccer America Team of the Week on October 8 as well...named to Soccer Buzz Elite Teams of the Week on September 9 and October 9...named the Waterscapes UNC Student-Athlete of the Week on October 6 and November 10, 2003...started the season off with a bang with a hat trick against Washington State...assisted on Lori Chalupny's overtime game-winner against Washington...had a goal and an assist versus Kentucky...had a goal and three assists in the win over Nebraska...had two assists against Guilford...had a hat trick in the regular season win over Duke...had two goals in the win at Maryland...scored a career-high four goals in Carolina's win over Wake Forest...had a goal and an assist in UNC's 3-1 win at Virginia...assisted on Mary McDowell's game-winner in a 1-0 win over Florida State...had a goal and an assist versus NC State in the ACC Tournament and a three-assist match versus Duke in the ACC semifinals...was stupendous in the NCAA Tournament, setting a Tournament record for assists with 11 and a UNC scoring record with 19 points...tied the NCAA record with four assists versus UNCG...had three more assists in the third round against Purdue...had a goal and an assist against Santa Clara...exploded against UConn in the NCAA title game with two goals and two assists...scored the game-winning goal in the game's eighth minute.
