General--Three-year returning letter winner who has started in the midfield for the Tar Heels all three seasons...tapped in preseason 2005 for M.A.C. Hermann Trophy Watch List...2005 preseason Soccer Buzz All-America...2005 preseason All-America as chosen by Soccer America...was a consensus first-team All-America selection as a sophomore and junior...one of a group of UNC players who are top candidates for National Player of the Year going into 2005...has been a member of the U.S. Women's National Team since 2001 and concurrently plays on both the U.S. National Team and U.S. Under 21 National Team...was a U-21 Nordic Cup winner in 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2005... an attacking midfielder who can play centrally or on the wing and can also drop back and play defense.

2002 Season--Named to the Atlantic Coast Conference All-Freshman Team...captured second-team freshman All-America honors from Soccer Buzz...Soccer Buzz Southeast Region All-Freshman selection...despite some injury problems that saw her miss a large part of the second half of the season, she played in 16 games and started 11 times...she had three goals and seven assists...had game-winning goals against Saint Mary's and Clemson...also had an assist in the Saint Mary's game...her game winner versus Clemson came in the second overtime...she had two assists against Florida International...also scored a goal against Texas A&M in the regular season meeting.
Prep-- A gifted high school player who was considered one of the top recruits in the country in the class of 2001...was ranked as the No. 2 recruit in the nation coming out of high school by Soccer America...graduated in May 2002 from Nerinx Hall High School...played four years of varsity soccer...was a Parade High School All-America selection in both 2001 and 2002...also named twice to the All-Metro, All-Conference and All-State Teams...established the single-season scoring record for Nerinx Hall...earned honor roll kudos her sophomore through senior years.
