General--Three-year letter winner who started her freshman and sophomore years and played as a key reserve in 2003...has developed into a reliable player for Carolina...her versatility is a key as she feels comfortable both in the midfield and on the back line of defense.
Club/ODP Experience--Has experience as a member of the United States National Team where she earned two caps with the U.S. National Team in Italy and Portugal...was elevated to that team in 2001 after being on the United States Under-18 National Team...played on the same club team as former Tar Heel All-America Danielle Borgman...has been a member of the U.S. Under-16, Under-18 and Under-21 National Teams as well as the WNT pool and the Under-19 national team pool...played club soccer for 11 years as a forward and club basketball for seven years as a guard...led the Hammer FC soccer team to Ohio South state championships in 1997, 1998 and 2001...was named an under-16 NSCAA All-America.
2003 Season--Played in 26 games for the Tar Heels in 2003 and started on nine occasions...had one goal and two assists.
2002 Season--Played in 24 games for the Tar Heels as a sophomore and started on 20 occasions...finished the year with two goals and four assists...had the game-winning goal in an NCAA second round victory over Wake Forest...she also scored versus Washington...had assists versus Texas A&M, Texas, Oregon and Radford.
2001 Season--Had a magnificent freshman season...played in all 25 games for the Tar Heels, starting 21 times...scored two goals on the season, the game-winning goal against Florida State in the ACC Tournament championship game and the first UNC goal in the NCAA quarterfinals against Penn State...had assists against Georgia, Missouri, UAB and Portland...tapped as a member of Soccer America's All-Freshman Team...was named to the 2001 ACC All-Freshman Team...named second-team freshman All-America by Soccer Buzz and to Soccer Buzz's Southeast Region All-Freshman Team...earned All-Tournament honors in the 2001 NCAA College Cup...had a great year academically...was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll with a 3.43 GPA...was also chosen for the Dean's List in the fall semester 2001 with a 3.65 GPA.
Prep--Graduated from Sycamore High School in Cincinnati on June 3, 2001...played four years of high school soccer...a Parade High School All-America in 2001...active in National Honor Society, the Huddle Drug Awareness Program and Special Olympics...named to high honor roll four successive years...was named to Greater Miami Conference All-Academic Team for three years.
