Senior season: Finishes her career as one of the more efficient blockers at Carolina • Played in 114 sets and 29 matches in her final season • Led the Tar Heels in kills (309) and blocks (101) • Her 309 kills and .293 hitting percentage were both career-bests • Her 16 double-digit kill games led the team, including registering 17 kills five different times to tie her career high • Mashed 11 kills with a .526 hitting percentage and four solo blocks in a 3-0 win at Miami (10/23/09) • Her nine blocks that tied a career-high, including four consecutive and five in the last frame, nearly willed Carolina to victory at Wake Forest (11/2/0/09) • Her seven blocks gave Carolina a 3-1 win over then ACC leader Duke (10/16/09).
Junior Season: Named All-ACC Second Team • Played in 29 matches as a middle blocker for the Tar Heels • Finished first on the team with 1.34 blocks per set, ranking second in the ACC • Finished third on the team with a .278 hitting percentage • Tallied a team-high 22 solo blocks and 80 block assists • Recorded a career high nine blocks against Boston College (9/27/08) • Recorded double-digit kills on four occasions in 2008.
Sophomore Season: Played in 28 matches on the year as an outside hitter for the Tar Heels • Reached double figures in kills seven times, including a stretch of four out of five matches from Oct. 4-19 • Set a season high with 15 kills against Florida State Oct. 19 • Finished the year fourth on the team with a .278 hitting percentage and fifth on the squad with 174 kills • Hit a season-high .769 against Villanova Sept. 7 with 10 kills and no errors in 13 attempts.
Redshirt Freshman Season: Appeared in 88 sets over 25 matches for the Tar Heels • Reached double digits in kills six times, including a career-high 17 against Clemson Nov. 10 • Had a career-high 11 digs in back-to-back matches against Virginia Sept. 22 and Wake Forest Sept. 27 • Established a career high of eight blocks in the win over NC State on Sept. 15 • Hit .500 or better in four matches, including a season-best effort of .706 (14 kills, 2 errors, 17 total attempts) in the win at Boston College Nov. 24 • Finished the season with 179 kills, 71 blocks and 70 digs.
Freshman Season: Redshirted the 2005 season due to injury.
Prep: AAU All-America • All-East and Player of the Year as a senior • MVP of her high school team • Member of club team that won multiple titles, including pre-nationals twice, AAUs twice and Junior Olympics/Nationals twice • Illinois State Scholar • Member of the National Honor Society, NSHSS, the French Honor Society, the honor roll and Recycling for Seniors • Also participated in softball, gymnastics and track.
