McHugh Named ACC Pitcher of the Week

Sophomore Radara McHugh earned ACC Pitcher of the Week honors after earning three wins in four games last weekend at the UVA Cavalier Classic. McHugh gave up four earned runs in the three wins, over Virginia (9-1), Eastern Michigan (5-3) and Cleveland State (12-1). She is 7-6 for the season.
UNC, now 8-9 overall, competes this weekend in the National Invitational Softball Tournament in San Jose, Calif.
