Softball Conducts Fall Clinics

The University of North Carolina softball program will conduct its annual fall clinics on Sunday, Nov. 1, and Sunday, Nov. 21. Directed by the UNC softball coaching staff and current players, the clinics are open to junior and senior high school girls and teams, as well as ASA youth teams. Instruction will be provided for all skill levels, with an emphasis on fundamentals.
The Nov. 1 clinic is for pitchers and catchers, while the Nov. 21 clinic covers hitting, bunting and baserunning. Each clinic is divided into morning (9 a.m. to noon) and afternoon (1 p.m. to 4 p.m.) sessions and all sessions will be held at Finley Softball Field. Space for each session is limited and applications will not be accepted after the Thursday before each clinic.
Clinic prices are as follows:
Nov. 1:
Pitchers-$45 for one session, $80 for both morning and afternoon sessions
Catchers-$45 per session
Nov. 21:
Hitting, bunting, baserunning-$25 per session
