Emily LeGette Takes Home Three National Player-Of-The-Week Awards

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Emily LeGette brought home three National Player-of-the-Week honors on Tuesday.

LeGette became the first ever ACC player to win Louisville Slugger/NFCA Player of the Week in the same year. She also brought home D1Softball Player of the Week and Softball America Star of the Week.

Over four games last week, she clubbed five home runs with 15 RBI while hitting .615 with a .667 on-base percentage, 1.769 slugging percentage, and 2.436 OPS. She had the third three home run game in program history on Saturday including a walk-off homer to give UNC its first ranked win since 2023.

On the season LeGette leads the country with .597 batting average and leads the ACC in home runs (15), RBI (48), slugging (1.403), on base percentage (.641), OPS (2.044), and total bases (87). She is on pace to break the single season program record for home runs, RBI, and runs.
