Chapel Hill, N.C. -- The baseball game scheduled for Wednesday evening between North Carolina and UNC Wilmington has been cancelled due to rain. There are no plans to reschedule the contest.

Carolina continues its 1999 season when it plays host to East Carolina Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. in Boshamer Stadium. Following that game, the Tar Heels will break for nine days for final exams before resuming their seaosn May 9-11 at Clemson.
