LATE GOAL LEADS BONNIES OVER TAR HEELS, 1-0
Winston-Salem, N.C. - David Servello scored a goal with under 10:00 remaining in regulation Friday night as St. Bonaventure withstood several golden North Carolina scoring opportunities and defeated the Tar Heels, 1-0, in the opening game of the Nike Wake Forest Classic.
After a scoreless first half, Carolina controlled the ball for much of the second stanza and outshot the Bonnies, 11-4, after halftime.
