Football Announces Preseason Schedule

Chapel Hill - The University of North Carolina football team will begin practice on Friday, August 6, when the freshmen hit the field at 11 a.m. for the first of four workouts. The first full team workout is set for Tuesday, August 10, at 5 p.m.
Freshmen report on the 5th, upperclassmen report back to campus on the 8th.
Fans are invited to attend the first 13 practices beginning with the freshmen practices on the 6th. The final practice that is open to the public is the afternoon workout on Saturday the 14th.
Practice is generally located at the football practice complex at Francis E. Henry Stadium, adjacent to the School of Law and across the street from Boshamer Stadium on Ridge Road.
Fan Appreciation Day is Sunday, August 22nd, at 2:30 p.m. at Kenan Stadium. More information about Fan Appreciation Day will released later.
