BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- University of North Carolina freshman tailback Daniel Davis (Stafford, Va.) participated in Friday afternoon's brief walk-through at Indiana University's Memorial Stadium and is expected to play in Saturday night's game with the Hoosiers, team officials announced Friday.
Davis was listed as questionable for the game because of an ulcer in his left eye. The ulcer is the result of an irritation caused by wearing contact lenses. Davis reported the ailment to UNC's team medical staff on Thursday morning. He will wear prescription sports goggles during Saturday's game. He was outfitted with the goggles before the Tar Heels left for Bloomington on Friday morning.
Sophomores Anthony Saunders and Domonique Williams are listed in the top two spots at tailback on Carolina's depth chart for Saturday.
