Baseball Pre-Season Honors Roll On

Tucson, Arizona--Collegiate Baseball Newspaper has released its 2000 baseball pre-season poll, and once again the Tar Heels are highly touted. In his first year as head Coach, Mike Fox has saw his team garner respect in all of the national polls, and the trend is continuing this year. Carolina is picked 20th overall in the poll and is joined by four other Atlantic Coast Conference teams in the rankings. The Heels open their season on January 28th in Orlando, Florida. They will join Clemson, Wake Forest, Rice, Central Florida, and the defending national champion Miami Hurricanes in the ACC/Disney Baseball Blast.
