1993
"Oh, how `bout that." - Leon Johnson races 57 yards down the left sideline for a touchdown and a 14-7 first quarter lead.

"Wide Open" - After scoring on its first three possessions of the game, the Tar Heels score again - this time on a 56-yard pass from Jason Stanicek to a wide-open Corey Holliday.

"Don't you just love it?" - Curtis Johnson outruns the Maryland defense on a 90-yard touchdown run, the longest TD run in Carolina history.

"Touchdown Carolina!" - Mike Thomas finds Bucky Brooks behind the Terrapin defense early in the fourth quarter for a 47-yard touchdown and a 52-35 lead. Carolina would go on to win 59-42 and pile up a school-record 714 yards of total offense.

1994
Jason Stanicek and Marcus Wall connect for a 39-yard touchdown to give Carolina a 14-7 first quarter lead. The Tar Heels rolled to a 41-17 Kenan Stadium victory. Curtis Johnson had 94 yards rushing that Oct. 15 afternoon, while Leon Johnson had 90.

1996
On Carolina's second offensive play of the game, Chris Keldorf connects with L.C. Stevens for a 76-yard touchdown to give the Tar Heels the quick 7-0 lead.

Later in the first quarter, Keldorf hits Steve on a 25-yard touchdown pass to give Carolina a 14-7 lead.

On third down, Keldorf passes to Stevens for 38 yards and a first down at the Maryland 10-yard line. Three plays later Keldorf would connect with Stevens for a 7-yard TD and a 21-7 lead. Carolina went on to win 38-7.
