Bosley Allen:
"The middle part of the season was bumpy, but we finished strong at the end.
I feel like we should go to a bowl.
"Ronald finally got it together today. He has some great skills. He showed everybody what he can do today.
"It felt great to score three touchdowns. It felt kind of like high school. I'm just excited that I was able to do it."
Errol Hood:
"We hadn't played a complete game all year, but today we played a really good
game.
"I really couldn't tell you why we struggled earlier in the season. The last three games we buckled down, stepped up and came ready to play.
"I'm a Coach Torbush fan, so I want him to stay. If my vote counts, Coach Torbush stays.
"Peppers' play today should get him defensive player of the year in the ACC. I love to watch him play. He has fun, and when he has fun, he balls.
"On my interception, I think I heard everybody in the stands and on the sidelines screaming for me to turn around. When I did, the ball was right there."
Brandon Spoon:
"I think we'll have another game to play, but if we don't, I still enjoyed
myself today. I'm not looking back. I give it my all out there every second,
I enjoy playing football.
"I think we gave it a little extra for Coach (Torbush) today. You know, 52 points is a lot of points for one half. We were very pleased with that. It should help Coach Torbush."
Alge Crumpler:
"It was very emotional out there for a lot of the guys, but I was just trying
to look ahead to the next play.
"What I didn't want our team to do was get complacent when we got up. I don't think we did. We did really well today to put ourselves in bowl potential.
"In the first half, I was just thinking, 'let's keep the points coming.' That's exciting football when things are going the way you want them to. We put together a spectacular performance in the first half.
"Duke blitzed on practically every down, but we picked it up very well. Ronald checked out of a lot of different things. He was smart, and we played really good football."
Joey Evans:
"The fumble recovery and return was a lot of fun. (Laughing) Maybe I should
have dived like Pep did, maybe then I could have gotten into the end zone.
"As soon as I picked the ball up, I felt one person pulling on me, but when I got away from him, I thought I would get into the end zone, but the quarterback pulled me down from behind. I was kind of upset about that.
"I still have a long way to go, but I feel like I progressed the latter part of the season. All of us worked hard, we're a very competitive team. It makes it a lot of fun out there.
"I've been most pleased with my pass rushing. At first I was a little bit hesitant, I had a young player's mentality, but I'm starting to listen to my coaches. Everything's come together.
"Overall, I'm glad we won. We could have done better, but I'm happy with the win."
Julius Peppers:
"We haven't really talked about whether or not Coach will be back. I think we're
better than our record shows. I definitely think he'll be back.
"We weren't playing to save his job, we were playing for ourselves, for a winning record and for the chance to go to a bowl. Everybody just wanted to win.
"It was great to have all three phases of our team come together today. It was great to get all those points in the first half."
Ronald Curry:
"The bowl situation is out of our hands. Hopefully, it will work out.
"Duke's blitz didn't hurt us. Overall, it actually helped us. It hurt them more than it hurt us.
"We came into the game confident. The offense knew the defense saved us the last couple of weeks, so we just wanted to come in and put some points on the board early.
"My throwing rhythm had been off, but Coach O'Cain told me not to worry about it. He told me to just go out there and throw the ball, and to not worry about placing it, and that's exactly what I did.
"I feel like I played well today, I feel like I played really well. There's always room for improvement, but I feel like I helped put the team in a position to score points and win the game."
