
Crumpler, Peppers Earn First-Team All-ACC Honors

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - North Carolina tight end Alge Crumpler and defensive end Julius Peppers were named to the 2000 All-Atlantic Coast Conference First-Team released Monday. Linebacker Brandon Spoon and placekicker Jeff Reed were named second-team All-ACC. Defensive tackle Ryan Sims, cornerback Errol Hood and linebacker Sedrick Hodge were named honorable mention. The award is the second time Crumpler has been named to the first team. It is the first honor for Peppers.
The Associated Press All-Atlantic Coast Conference football teams for 2000 as voted on by 70 members of the Atlantic Coast Sports Writers Association. First-place votes in parenthesis. A first-team vote counted for two points and second-team vote one:
