Willie Parker:
"It was a trick play (the "rooski") that worked. I was ready to keep outside, but
the defense shifted outside, so I just cut it back in and used my body as a spear
and got into the end zone.
"We've been practicing this play all along.
"We got some really good blocking by our line on that long (98-yard) drive, and I used my ability to get outside."
Errol Hood:
"It feels really good when everything you work on every day pays off in a
victory. Those long plane rides aren't any fun when you have a loss. It will
feel good on the plane ride back.
"This win ought to help us out next week. We'll be at home, we'll be relazed, we know we can win now. I feel like we'll be better now.
"We gave (Antonio) Bryant over 200 yards receiving, but we won. Our secondary can play better, but we won. We didn't play great.
"I feel like our defensive line and linebackers played well. At the times we needed them to step up, they stepped up.
"We beat a very good football team."
Brandon Spoon:
"I'm surprised we ran the play ("rooski"). I'm just glad it worked.
"I think we'll play looser now. It's a relief. It should give us a little more confidence and momentum.
"I think we've got the monkey off our back. When people sit there and think you can't win, it gets on your psyche.
"I'd really like to spend Christmas in Hawaii."
Ryan Sims:
"With the stunts that we run, we average five sacks a game. The pressure's been
there. We've pressured everybody every week.
"With our personnel and our defensive coordinator, I feel like we can get to any quarterback.
"It was crucial that we put pressure on their quarterback, because they've got some great receivers. It's an eleven-man game, and we like to play with our eleven."
