"Rooski is what we call it. We've been working on it it the past two or three weeks. We had it in to run last week, but I didn't call it.
"I decided that if we had it inside the ten tonight, we would run it. We felt like it would work, and if it doesn't work, the worst thing that happens is you get tackled for a yard loss. It doesn't lead to anything bad if it doesn't work.
"You have to execute it well. Gunter (Brewer) ran it when he was coaching in junior college and at Marshall.
"We executed well on the long drive. Ronald hit some timely passes. The 2nd and eight pass to Bosley (Allen) was big. Ronald put the ball on the money, and Bosley did a good job of catching it.
"We got the biggest run from scrimmage this year (25 yard by Willie Parker) from a tailback. Some things clicked for us in that last drive. They were blitzing the outside linebacker on the weak side about every play, and we ran that little screen play out of the backfield.
"I don't thing it was anything special. We got it matched up against the right things, and our guys did a good job of executing.
"We came into the game with the plan to run the football a little bit more than we had. It worked early, and then later in the second half we just weren't getting it done.
"We didn't execute the passing game especially well. We had some open guys, we missed them. We had some dropped balls. We've just got to continue to work and get better."
