the hitting of little Chad Prosser. Prosser was 3-4 with with three RBI and two runs
scored. Prosser drilled his first collegiate home run, a three-run line shot to
left, in UNC's four-run eighth inning.
Lefty Chris Elmore (1-0, 4.67 ERA) is scheduled to start for Carolina, while
righthander Justin Acquaviva (0-0) will be on the mound for the Pirates.
