Softball's Erin Joseph Named ACC Pitcher of the Week

CHAPEL HILL -- Erin Joseph, a junior pitcher on the Tar Heel softball team, earned ACC Pitcher of the Week honors after picking up a win over Florida A&M last Friday in Lafayette, La.
The Upland, Calif., native made her only pitching appearance of the week for the Tar Heels a good one, as she threw a complete-game for the 12-2 win at the Louisiana Classics Tournament. Joseph gave up just four hits, while striking out three batters and allowing just two walks.
Joseph is 3-1 with a 1.22 ERA in six appearances this year.
