Women's Golf Finishes Fourth At Bryan Collegiate

BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. - North Carolina's women's golf team finished tied for fourth with a total score of 913 at the Bryan National Collegiate. Wake Forest won the tournament with a score of 896. Indiana University finished five strokes behind the Deacons with a 901. Third was taken by Mississippi State with a score of 906.
North Carolina's Marcy Newton took the individual title by three stokes. Newton finished with a three-over 219, while Florida State's Louise Wright finished second with a 222.
The 54-hole event played at the Bryan Park Champions Course features a par 72, 6,074-yard layout..
